Responsible Person for EU

In the European Union (EU), the "Responsible Person" is a key role in the regulation of cosmetic products. According to the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC No. 1223/2009), the Responsible Person is a natural or legal person established within the EU who is responsible for ensuring that a cosmetic product complies with all relevant EU regulations and meets safety requirements. The Responsible Person must also keep all necessary documentation and information regarding the product, and they are responsible for reporting any adverse reactions or defects to the competent authorities.
